Everyone now signed officially. Only thing left for this class is Slade who I believe is announcing on the 16th.

Rivals already has OSU listed as the only team of interest for Slade.

Isn't McDowell only 17? Don't his parents also have to sign?

Thanks, and I'll feel better when he signs ;)
However, Bucknuts.com has learned that Slade has signed to go to Ohio State. He has not yet sent his National Letter of Intent into the Buckeyes, but is expected to do so by the end of the day.

I did not see the 11w article posted and the "holy shit" part was just my reaction to the situation

Is that ok with you?:RpS_wub::p:p:@

Slade's cousin, former Penn State defensive lineman Jared Odrick, played for new Buckeye defensive line coach Larry Johnson, Sr., and it was that relationship which turned Slade's interest from the Buckeyes into something to look closely at.
"That was all Larry Johnson," one Buckeye source said.
But Vrabel! LOL

Technically malik doesn't need a loi. He could just show up to msu. But it'll get done. The kid wants to be there. His presser was depressing. He looked so unhappy. I feel for that kid.

Bryant officially not coming back. 2nd appeal denied. Not sure how he can't get one but Gardner was able too. Owell, you're up Erik Smith.

This is what I was thinking as well...

Ohio State is always going to have assistant coaches who can recruit. If they didn't have good personalities I don't think they'd be coaches at OSU to begin with.

IMO, Powell takes over for Bryant, and Bell for Barnett.

That secondary is going to be crowded with great back to back classes. Still have guys like Burrows, Apple, Conley, Thompson, and Bogard. I think it will be tough for the Frosh to break into the lineup back there.

Kyle Rowland just retweeted something along the lines of "MSU hands out its list of 2014 recruits and McDowell is not included"

Well they didn't sign a loi, so they can't use his name. He only committed.

Poor kid, that's what happens when you have helicopter parents though. It's not like he's from a bad place either, Southfield is a pretty nice city
