I do not know anything about OSU because I am an expert in all things Irish. But I can do a google search and be contradictory on anything. (unless you post something negative about ND. then I will defend at all costs. even thought it make me look more tarded everytime)

I'm hearing from @jbook37 (Ohio State recruiting guy on twitter) that Elliott is solid with Ohio State, and jbook asked for Ohio State fans to lay off messaging EE, his mother, and his father. I guess lots of Buckeye fans were bombarding them with tweets and messages yesterday (mostly good ones, encouraging them to stay), but "jbook" asked fans to leave them alone because he was confident they were still Buckeyes. Don't want to turn them off, and thus push them away.

He could very well be solid to OSU, but anyone who follows recruiting (which I know several here do) knows that there should at the least be mild concern. Many decommittments start out this way, with "I'm a solid commit but going on visits."

Not saying that is the case, I just wouldn't spend much time convincing people with concerns that they shouldn't be, because they probably should.

Nobody's ever a lock until the LOI is signed and faxed, so no use worrying over it.

Ah ok thanks for the clear up. Saw some tweets saying he de-committed and knew the was a little interest in the past so I wasn't sure if there was something to it.

It is. It seemed he was a little bothered by OSU fans going crazy on him when they heard about the visit. That and Missouri apparently showed him a lot they hadn't on the first couple visits.
