Was that a really quick whistle on Rice?? Seemed like it to me.
And when I say quick I mean, it never really looked like the play was dead, so not sure why they blew it. I know they blow the whistle quick on those when its done, but he was still moving in the pile.

Tough call on the quick whistle. Forward motion was stopped and once the whistle blows the D lays off so the runner gets in.

I guess. But even live it looked like he was still falling sideways, which can result in the forward push like it did.
