I hate Pryor more than any two people whom I know, but Pryor is a better QB. I hope and pray that Miller will be a better one, but there simply is no comparison right now.
Miller doesn't look great. Not at all. He looks agile as a mother freaker and has an absolute cannon...but he's no Jon Elway just yet chief.
I missed this response as I never checked back to this thread... But I LOL'd.
Miller is a better QB than Pryor. You can say what you want, but Miller is so far ahead of Pryor in terms of passing mechanics and it's plain as day to see.
People judge Miller from his first couple of games where he couldn't throw a spiral. He was nervous and gripping the ball too tightly. Since then, he has become much more comfortable throwing the ball and people are now seeing the tight spiral he possess.
He also doesn't have a weird ass hitch in his delivery. His throwing motion is very smooth and he maintains vision downfield.
He doesn't have the offensive weapons that Pryor had either. He doesn't have that sure handed WR like Hartline or Dane. His best WR won't even play until the Michigan game. Miller was thrown into a "poor" situation. Rookie HC, missing all kinds of talent, and nobody to learn truly learn the game from. As bad as Todd Boeckman was, he's 100x better than Joe Bauserman. There is no sweater vest guiding him either.
TP was an athletic freak. But that doesn't mean he was a great QB. He was a superb athlete playing QB. I'm not saying TP was a bad QB, though. He found ways to get the job done, for the most part.
