I do remember. Not sure why we are going back 5 years to try to prove that Mooney is better than Orrville. They were better then and still better now. I would not argue that point. All i have said on this thread is that you will lose to Mooney by um a lot!

I love when fans of the underdog use people predicting the other ("better") team winning as some sort of sign of disrespect. Northwest has a chance to win this game, come to Youngstown and cheer on your team. Enjoy some great Italian food at the MVR. But seriously lets cut the crap.....the Dispatch predicting Mooney as the DIII champ means nothing, its akin to Joe Schmo on the street predicting something, neither means anything. If someone is predicting Mooney will win in this thread, by god just take it to heart and let it make you feel all the better if NW wins on Friday. But lets cut with the useless bickering about who beat who beat who beat who, and who's schedule sucked and who's was awesome. Mooney's schedule was better than any other DIII team, I can guarantee that, but they don't award you extra points on the scoreboard for playing McKinley and Boardman.

Moral of the story: cheerleading is for the cheerleaders on the sidelines....predictions are for weird ladies with crystal balls....unless you have something to add about matchups or specifics, just keep it to yourself. Reps, best post of the thread. Rider should take notes. As in the article I posted, Mooney knows what is coming and respects it. I especially found interesting the quote about prepairing for 2 different things on O. I have never seen it that way, but it is strange to have such a complete contrast on the same team.

Mooney has only one and done once since the playoffs expanded in 1999, and that was in 2003 to eventual state runner up Villa-Angela St. Joe's, and as I recall that was a very close game that came down to the very end. Bad draw for Mooney that year.

I saw Mooney destroy SVSM. I saw NW beat STA. Mooney's O line and overall team speed are too much for NW to handle. Mooney's DE'a are huge and quick. Finally, the Cards have Love. Too much Love for NW.
