Truth. I think it is funny if people are actually trying to justify what they are eating by ordering a diet drink with it, but some folks just like diet. I would have laughed at this bitch though!!

I don't really like diet pop, but I can't drink regular coke or Pepsi. I don't know what it is about them but it hurts my throat. I usually either drink water or root beer

Because while the geniouses of the OC may simply prefer the taste of diet to regular soda, there are a lot of people who order diet sodas because they believe it to be healthier. Here in Hawaii they are trying to pass this bill that will allow the state to put a high tax on sugary drinks. Don't know how much of a tax yet though. But it was a topic on the news last night.
