I like that there is finally some upsets. I feel like there haven't been very many this season.

Umm, I think that you're confused. All of these teams winning out would have been the BCS imploding. Having teams that are undefeated this late in the season lose is a good thing for the BCS.

It depends who loses in my opinion. A great anti-BCS scenario would be something like Clemson, Boise State, and Stanford going undefeated with an SEC and Big 12 team each having 1 loss. Then what?

Also, nice job moving a similar thread with a more interesting title into a thread you created with a boring title.

Then the two highest ranked teams in the BCS (likely the SEC and Big XII teams) still play in the title game. People would complain (especially Clemson and Stanford), but the two teams ranked at the top would still face each other in the title game.

Is this directed at me? I can't merge threads, I think I started this one before the other one bc I was on my phone. You are awfully testy tonight.

^ Which would have the BCS imploding in my opinion. I don't think teams losing is necessarily a bad thing for anyone who is hoping to mess up the system, as long as the right teams are losing.

If a 1-loss SEC or Big 12 team gets in over an undefeated Clemson, the system is broken. Clemson had a decent OOC schedule and the ACC isn't bad to the point that you should penalize them.

With all that being said though, Clemson will not go unbeaten IMO

The BCS is strategically designed to put the two best teams in the title game...if it claims a 1loss team deserves it over an undefeated team, then so be it.

MSU reminds me of OSU in '02... average offense, much better defense, and a holy buckeye/holy spartan moment

I merged them last night because all 3 were about the same thing. The merged thread takes the name of the first one created unless you tell it differently. someone has since edited the title, though.

Again, my deepest apologies to anyone who was offended by the title of the thread last night. I posted from my phone right after the play occurred, before the review overturned the call. I hope you are able to recover mentally from such an egregious error.
