Wooster won. It would have been better for us for WH to win, but certain posters grind me the wrong way and I'm happy the Generals won. It will put some excitement into the game this week. I don't think it will change the mental attitude about winning from the teams view point, because both will want to win no matter the records. What was the score?

Will the Riders lose against the vaunted McCreary coaching philosophies?

Uhmmmm, Big Bill's defense shut down the Wing-T last night, they can stop anything.

The question in the McCreary household isn't are we going to win, it's by how much...that's how they roll.

We need to bring the lumber next week. We haven't seen the big hits in several games. This would be an excellent week to bring a few of those out.

Well I don't like your "trick"! It's bush league for a big thread like this.

And, yes, I am bustin' your balls AGAIN! :D

I wouldn't call riders1 "my boy". He's a pal and it's good to have them on here.

Well you like the "trick" when orrvillians type "triway" or "wooster" so even at your age, a dose of your own medicine can help.

Maybe this will help you feel better...:thumbup::thumbup:

How do you know that I like the "trick"? Fact is...no "Orrvillian" (and actually it's "Orrvillite") has ever done that in a thread title. And your constant references to my age is getting old...like you.

This should be Wooster's best chance in several years to get a win verse those Red Riders from Orrville. But, yes with Wooster there is always a but ( other than McCreary). They have shown they can not play two good games in a row. Even though Orrvilles offense is struggling this year and Wooster's can put a ton of points up, the Defenses are just the opposite. Orrvilles "D" will hold strong. 21-17 Orrville...

Orrville has never won 7 straight over Wooster....and I agree, this might be their best shot in a few years. Orrville hasnt faced a feature back like Anderson since Copley's Turner in week 3 (who got shut down in that game).

Not sure what to make of this funk the Riders are in on offense but don't like that we're regressing on offense for the 2nd straight year. This is when it's all supposed to be clicking. We peaked offensively in week 1.

For once, this season you cannot just focus on the feature back. When it gets on track, the offense can of Wooster can be very prolific.

The defense on the other hand, not so much.

See, this should have been the kind of thing to start off a thread as important as this one, along with the records coming in to the game and commentary like, oh...say....RR1, OQB, riders1 or ccrolly would have given. Not one started by a "witty guy" who gives the intro:[INDENT]

Speaking of "witty guys": Man that Mr. 300 is quite the funny man! Ho Ho Ho! Maybe it just "Depends" on how you look at it.

BRF was talking to a guy today who said that maybe we should rest our injured players this week. BRF says "WHAT?". His point was that the Wooster game isn't the big deal that it used to be. Well, us old folks don't "cotton" too much to talk like that! (But I thought it was an interesting point about how this game is taken in this day and age.). :(
