These women were obviously way out of line... and the cashier should be able to defend himself. But did he go over the line? He continues to beat them once they are on the ground. It's just a messed up situation all around. I don't know why women think they have the ability to just slap men if they feel like it. No one has the right to hit anyone... regardless of sex.

certainly didn't expect a weapon to be introduced but you can't expect to slap someone (and go behind a business counter in the process) and not have them defend themselves.

If someone jumps over the counter at me you best believe I am grabbing whatever I can find and swinging it at them. I am sure that guy had a bunch of pent up anger working at McDonalds as it is.

+1, what if they were reaching for weapons in their purses? This guy was just defending himself in my eyes. It'd be different if he jumped over the counter and went after them, but they jumped over the counter and went after him.

I know my opinion... I wanted to see what other people thought. When reading through the comments on CNN there seemed to be a lot of people who thought he was within his rights of self defense, which I found to be interesting.

I'd acquit as a juror, self defense. They jumped over the counter after him, assault and battery ensued. I don't know what is in a the handbag of someone attempting to injure me, I'd ensure that they would not get up to protect myself.

Just because I feel like being that guy, I could totally rub one out to that video.

But in all seriousness, he had every right to defend himself. If I was the juror I'd make sure he gets off scotch free. You have no idea what they had planned, especially after one hopped the counter. I would have done the exact same thing. Even to the point of hitting them again if they tried to get up.

This little scenario has more than likely played out in this cashiers mind a thousand times only to finally be realized. I'm certain he's wanted to slap a bitch on more than a dozen occasions because she gave him an attitude about not receiving enough ketchup packs or some other arbitrary reason. I'm sure the adrenaline rush experienced by this dude has never been matched in his lifetime when these stupid bitches jumped the fence...

Lacerations to the head and face, and one with a fractured skull and broken arm ... yeah, he went a little too far, but not because these people didn't deserve it.

I was raised to never hit a lady, but the minute you attack someone, you cease to be a lady. They deserve what they got, and I hope he sees a slap on the wrist.
