It's close to easy.

Then again, UK might just be 1-2 steps above every other SEC team this year, so it may never appear to be murderer's row. Like KU was (and still is), any game at Rupp Arena is almost impossible for the road team to win anymore...
So because the SEC is pretty bad, that stretch is a relatively tough one? lol sorry, that's not that hard of a stretch compared to others.

Hell look at KU, @ Missou, @ Baylor, Okie State, and @ Kansas State

Not really a Rutgers fan, I just worked for them so I want to see them do well.

And the difference between a KU and OSU fan and an LSU and UK fan, is the conference. KU and OSU rarely ever play in anything (yes I know they played this year, I believe it was their first meeting ever). Being a fan of two teams in the same conference is just laughable!

As tough as the SEC can offer them. I'm not arguing with you that it's that tough...I think UK will honestly go 15-1 or 14-2 in the SEC. Nobody can challenge them at Rupp and they will win at least 1 or 2 of the 3 in Starkville, Gainesville and Nashville.

Well yeah it's as tough as the SEC can offer lol but it's still a pretty easy stretch relative to what other team's are going up against.

Good win for K-State over A&M.
Arizona wins at Stanford.
Denver up on Middle Tennessee late.
UNLV falls at Wyoming, the Cowboys are big winners as they are in an at-large conversation.

Wyoming still plays away against UNLV, SDSU, New Mexico, and Colorado State. I don't think they'll have the resume when it's all said and done since they lost to SDSU and New Mexico at home and did absolutely nothing out of conference.

Great win for them today though. The Mountain West might be a top 5 conference.

Saint Louis gets a big win over Dayton. Flyers at large hopes probably dead after 4 straight losses. Iona up 6 on Manhattan in a battle for 1st in the MAAC.

Alex Len for Maryland had a big game against Carolina today. The 7-foot-2 freshman from the Ukraine scored 12 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and tallied 4 blocks against John Henson, Tyler Zeller and Co. It was an impressive performance for the newcomer, perhaps his coming out party in the ACC. I look forward to see his development over the next three years. He's very similar to former Lithuania and Portland Trailbazer sensation Arvydas Sabonis, except half his weight and nothing like him at all. I do expect Len to become a star in this league, however.

How long will Butler be down for, I saw they lost again to Detroit yesterday?
And is the Horizon a 2 bid league if Cleve St doesn't win the tournament?

If CSU goes at least 7-1 (must be a win over Drexel) and makes the Horizon finals, I can see them getting an at-large bid. I'd say they are a lock had they not lost to YSU at home...

Losing to Hofstra is bad too. Hofstra sucks bad this year...

Butler is young. They'll be back next year.

If Murray State is undefeated after their conference tournament, what seed do they deserve in the tournament? What would they actually get if that's the case? Biggest hurdle is St. Mary's in a couple weeks, but win that and it's not exactly murderers' row.

I think you have to give them a 1 seed. Undefeated is undefeated, I don't care if you are playing SEC teams.

With that said, I see them being given a 2 seed.

Maybe a 3 deservedly, and probably a 4 in reality.

I don't see them winning more than 1 game in the tournament.

Lunardi has then at a 6 seed. I cant see any higher than a 4. They have one quality win.

If they beat St. Mary's, they will have 3 wins over the top 50 (Memphis, Southern Miss, St. Mary's).

While I don't think Murray should even be in the conversation for a 1 or 2, a 3 is not out of the question and a 6 would be a crime.

3 top 50 wins...that will be more than a TON of teams come tourney time. Teams many think are legit sleepers...while many will disparage Murray State.

If Ohio State draws today's current bracketology setup, you can pencil them in for final 4 guaranteed. Very easy draw, with Kansas being the only hiccup but we can beat them easily with Sullinger.

In unrelated news, but still some will find it meaningful.

Kentucky/North Carolina are done playing annually. The series was not renewed.

Kentucky will keep games with Louisville, Indiana, SEC/Big East Challenge.

They will also be playing Duke and Maryland next year.

6 games this week feature teams who are both ranked in the top 12. Should be a great week of basketball.
