There's a weekly TV show on now about this already having been completed. It's called Person of Interest.

Another excuse to disregard our rights. Next they will assassinate a citizen here and claim the computer predicted he was going to do something. We might as well just give up this charade and set fire to the Constitution on the steps of the White House.

I was never for the creation of the DHS. I knew it would evolve into this. The constitution clearly lays out the federal governments arms of defense.

No, someone will come in and say the computer said we need to invade and occupy Turkey because some people there dislike us.

My dad was just in Turkey. Said it was a perfectly normal place and thought it was strange he didn't see any turbans considering the country's proximity to the middle east.

Nonsense. They hate us because we are free. Fuck, I just realized, I bet they are more free in Turkey than we are here.

Well I mean, I think Turkey is generally one of the more friendly middle eastern-ish countries.

Maybe that is why the government is taking away our freedoms. If we are no longer free, maybe the terrorists won't hate us anymore.

Only because there isn't one party associated with it. :)

Let's instead develop the system to predict incompetence, and then use it to screen our politicians.

My sister and brother in law are currently in Turkey. She was pretty scared about living over there but says she actually likes it and is a pretty nice place I'm hoping to go out there and visit them next summer.

As for this yeah I agree it is pretty stupid. But the TV show called Person of Interest is pretty good.
