Lions come in this game after a huge win over Marlington looking to go 8-0 for first time since 1997.

IMO they win this game by 21+ ... not meaning any disrespect to the Quakers.

Your thoughts & opinions????

I don't think Salem could have picked a worse homecoming opponent. Salem struggling right now. Playoffs out of the question but this would make Salem's season if an upset could happen.

Does Minerva have that one big-play speedster type? If not, the game will be closer than people think, because that is the Quakers' big achiles heel. However Salem must convert in the red zone every chance they get, or it will be over early.

just a little food for thought for ya guys...Kopachy was a coach on the Chaney team that beat a 10-0 Minerva team @ Salem in 1997 by the score 25-10.
The score will be closer then people might think but Salem fights an uphill battle in this one.

I was at that game with a Minerva graduate. To this day he says Minerva was screwed by the refs in that one. Lol.

That was one massive screwing if they lost by 15....lol I was 11 at the time, so I have no idea.

I laugh, but he's usually not one to blame refs for losses. I worked that game with him...he was hysterical afterward...lol

Good news is the rain is going to hold off, it looks like.
