LOL.

Uhhh...

From the article:
In the opening moments, Grossi predicted Hillis' agent would ask for a trade before the deadline.
Not exactly the same as saying "Hillis to request trade"...

That is what the article says, but he is going in next week and will request the trade.

"LeBron James used his first appearance on NBA TV's "Arena Link" to make quite a statement. "I got a goal, and it's a huge goal, and that's to bring an NBA championship here to Cleveland," James said. "And I won't stop until I get it."

Translation: I am taking my talents to South Beach

I wouldn't put much stock in what Pro players from Cleveland say.

And I would put even less stock in what Gibby says.

Peyton has always said he loved Cleveland, especially for giving him a shot. He loves the fans.

LeBron never really directly said anything about Cleveland, it was always about Akron.

If you guys think about it, it makes perfect sense. Hillis broke out last year in an offense conducive for him to do so. Pat Shurmer's offense? Not so much. Hardesty is much more of a fit for the offense than Hillis, as evidenced by the extensive amount of touches Hardesty is getting. If we really wanted to keep Hillis, we would have extended him by now because we have a lot of money to do so. It's not that Hillis isn't a good player, but he's just not a fit for Shurmer's offense, and it appears if one of them has to give, it's Hillis.

Unless Hillis wants more money/years than the Browns want to give him. That's how negotiations work.
