Ass Burgers is the name of the premier. Last season was a little off, so hopefully, they step it up.

Here we go!

Been watching the semi-marathon that they were showing before the season premier.

That show that they are promoting to come on after this episode looks like shit!

I really liked the episode. Not the funniest one ever but I think it was good.

It wasn't good because it was funny, it was good because it was making fun of something stupid in our society.

Exactly, everyone is saying it sucked because it wasn't very funny. But I watch South Park as much for its social commentary as its comedy anymore.

Totally agree with the message delivered in this episode:

Life is shit. Drink to numb yourself just to get through it.

Fuckin' A South Park...fuckin' A!

I finally caught this week's episode, and I thought it was terrible. I got the "point" (life sucks and we all just kinda stumble thru it, but hey... so does everyone else; ppl just drink & it loosens people up a bit), but I don't think I laughed once. Might have cracked a few smerks, but that's it.

I'm actually pretty pumped for the special on Sunday night about how they make an episode.

I remember doing a report in a Pop Culture class in college about South Park. Because of the way they make it; they can do what they do. It takes them 6 days to do an episode, while it takes Family Guy and the Simpsons around 8 months.

The best example was the Elian Gonzalez fiasco. Quintuplets 2000 aired a week later.

South Park wouldn't be remotely as good if it wasn't for the way they made it.

Did anyone else see the the special last night? It went through the 6 days that it takes for them to make an episode.

It was crazy because they finished Human Centi IPad at 730am Wednesday morning, and it aired later that night. They ended up giving it to Comedy Central ~6pm; 4hrs before it was supposed to air.

Pretty impressive, but absolutely crazy.

Damn. I wanted to watch this and totally forgot. Anyone know if it will re-air, and if so, what time?

i think the best episode for example is the Obama episode which aired the day after the election. They included parts of his speech that he made not 24hrs before airtime.

Ah yes "About Last Night." I forgot about that one. That one is an even better example. I just like my example better because it was 8-9 years before ^^^^^^^^^^^ and were able to do something fairly similar; with what I suspect less equipment.

It's kind of funny. About 6 months ago, I surprised my wife with a weekend trip to NYC for her B-Day. I took her to see The Lion King on Broadway. Wouldn't you believe it, I go a BJ in the hotel that night.

I always though Rafikki said at the beginning "Nas ah blow job na da he" and the back up singers sand "Give a blow job tonight"
