Yeah, I think charges were dropped, a defamation charge remained and she will have to pay court costs but she's free.

I was quite shocked too, I expected her appeal to fail then the Italian court to up the punishment to life though not because of evidence failure but I didn't think the Italians wanted the embarassment.

If by lots you mean none, I would agree with you. She could very well be guilty, but there was practically zero evidence in an Italian kangaroo court.

I agree with you MB but I was still surprised the Italians reversed it, I honestly thought they'd enforce it to not show the world their ignorance but I was wrong.
