Here we are. Opening night is on Thursday with 3 games on that night.

Flyers @ Bruins 7pm VS (Banner raising ceremony)
Canadiens @ Maple Leafs 7pm CBC/RDS

How can Crosby still be listed at #1 of the forwards? The guy barely even played last season and still has symptoms, no doubt a pittsburgh board.

Jimmy Howard should be higher - He went 32 - 17 -5 and made it to the playoffs.

Dont follow hockey one little bit but saw this on SC and got a laugh out of it. Crosby is still nursing "concussion like symptoms" from like a full year ago? LOL. Thought Hockey players were supposed to be the toughest of the major sports

Hoping to see the Jackets come out strong tomorrow night and start the season off right with what should be a sold out crowd. This is certainly the best the Jackets have looked on paper with their offseason additions, now it's time to see if they can put it all together. IMO it all rides on Mason.

How does being "tough" relate at all to a concussion and experiencing symptoms a year later?

lol....I thought you were smarter than that. You can't just "tough out" a fucking concussion, especially one as serious as Crosby's.

Here's a "who really gives a fuck?" question: is there a reason teams don't play the same number of preseason games? Like, on Sunday, I was looking at the standings for the preseason and teams were spread out between five and eight games, which I thought was strange.

And technically, I thought Crosby had two concussions back to back, which does multiply the severity.
