Twice I did it....both times with just 1 strike left I had "Rangers Win!!!! 2011 World Series Champions!!!"

I negated my $130,000 jinx with stupid words.....glad I didn't hit send.

4 hrs 33 min. Doesn't compare or even seem anywhere close in time to a regular season Yanks-Red Sox game of the same elapsed time!

All the Rangers were missing was a groundball through the 1B leg. Epic Fail

The only thing I can remember that was even kind of like this was in the 2001 WS when Tino Martinez hit the 2 run homer w/ 2 outs to tie it in the 9th in game 4, and then in game 5 Brosious hit the solo homer w/ 2 outs in game 5.

I had never seen anything like that on back to back nights, in a World Series much less. It seemed like the Yankees were destined at that point.

Arizona recovered and went on to win the series in 7, so I guess anything is possible.

That being said, I don't know how you mentally get yourself back together when I am positive the Rangers players thought they were champs numerous times tonight. It has to be just crushing emotionally knowing you let it slip away like that.

Great game.

I think STL is going to throttle Texas in Game 7. Probably a 6-2 or 7-3 type win... At least IMO.

Texas has to be shellshocked. They were up by 2 in both the 9th and 10th innings and gave it up.

Demoralizing.

I have a lot more faith in pretty much anyone St. Louis could throw out there, but especially if it's Carpenter, than I do in Matt Harrison.

Game 6 1975.....

The Reds found a way to win the series, hopefully the Rangers can equal the feat.

I guess I will be buzz killington after this game. Does anyone think it's bullshit and ridiculous how the Cardinals (wild card team), who needed a collapse by the braves and a hell of a surge in September, are now hosting game 7 of the world series? Yeah, I am going there. Having the final 2 games in St Louis has already given the Cards the advantage with the rain delay.

Say all you want about Stern and Goodell with the lockout situations, but Selig is easily the worst owner out of all the leagues. He has done more harm than good for the MLB.

I have no dog in this fight either. I would be happy with the players on the rangers or cards winning a ring.

likethat, I agree that its kinda shitty that a wild card team that just barely made the playoffs is hosting game 7...BUT I love how the all-star game means something, so I'd rather it stay this way.

All star games meaning something is the dumbest thing ever. It's a fucking exhibition game, makes no sense.

Rangers are going to turn into the bills of baseball after they choke this series away

Disagree completely. Just imagine if the pro bowl decided the home field for the SB, or the senior bowl decided where the national championship in football was played. Sounds ridiculous right? Same thing with baseball. Not sure why the dumbass game has to mean something, more for the fans that all of the games best players on the field together. Not sure why that isn't enough.
