It was a knee jerk reaction by idiot Bud Selig. Everyone was pissed at him after he decided to end the 2001(or was it 2002?) all star game in a tie. He panicked and decided ONE game for the fans should help determine the outcome of the WS. SMH.Commander of Awesome;948024 wrote:Disagree completely. Just imagine if the pro bowl decided the home field for the SB, or the senior bowl decided where the national championship in football was played. Sounds ridiculous right? Same thing with baseball. Not sure why the dumbass game has to mean something, more for the fans that all of the games best players on the field together. Not sure why that isn't enough.
Most home teams win game 7. The All Star game, consisting of players who didn't even play in the playoffs, might determine the outcome of the WS.
