It seems as though some people are having problems following the rules in this forum. Please take a moment to review them so that we don't have these problems in the future. Thanks guys.

I would like to add to this thread that while I'm not a fan of Notre Dame, I do believe that their fans shouldn't be subjected to every single thread devoted to their football program ending up either started or infiltrated by trolls dedicated to bashing that program. This forum would be about 500% more tolerable if ND threads weren't so bitchy.

I would ask that people here be somewhat civil and not turn this place into the old Huddle's CFB forum where trash-talking was the dominant force. I have no desire to let this place descend to being the troll-dominated craphole that place was.

I have never seen a Notre Dame fan (rocket, athlete, killer_ewok, mr pat, sherm, etc.) go onto another thread and troll it. It's the aforementioned recalcitrant shitheads.

I think the most effective solution would be to simply ignore the trolling. Yeah, I know that can be difficult but the trolls only do it for the reaction they get. Take away the negative reaction and they've got no reason to troll.

the ban list is the way to go. I just hate it when other fans quote them so I still have to see their garbage.

Technically the "trolls" are breaking no rules at all, so warning/banning them wouldn't be right.

It would be nice if the "f" word was not allowed, there are a lot of young people that reads this board & I think we should set a better example.

We get trolled/made fun of too, but you don't see any of us whining to the administration about it. It's part of the fun man, relax. Remember, the internet is serious business, don't take it personally. Most of the stuff I post is 100% true, with a little embellishment, no different than the crap that ND fans spew on these boards. To you its "trolling", to me, it's bringing the delusional ND fans back to Earth, and you can take that to the bank.

Wow, you do have a soul after all. Haha. I figured alot of what you were saying was stuff that you didn't actually believe. And I do agree that there is other trolling/trolls on the site. And you are right, typically those being 'trolled' do not complain. I think my main issue was that there were like 9 threads in a row one day about Notre Dame and they all said the same crap. It was just getting very old.

What pisses me off is when people lump all ND fans together.....like we're all exactly the same. That's bullshit.

And even if you consider the Hawaii Bowl absolute shit.....ND snapped that bowl losing streak with that win last year so not sure why you're talking like it's current. I'm just sayin'.....if you're really about keeping it logical and factual....

Thats bullshit and you know it. ANYONE that said one negative thing about Kelly was deemed a "ND Hater and Troll" by all ND posters. You guys don't appreciate being lumped together, but thats EXACTLY what you've done to everyone else. I remember the old Huddle Cavs/Lakers heated debates, and it NEVER got to the point this has. "Mods, there are trolls all over our ND threads that don't like Brian Kelly, we are sick of hearing about it, so can you ban them, or warn them." Anytime I brought up a point, it was thrown back in my face and called false. One noble ND fan posted a ridiculous sign, then more jumped on the bandwaggon. My skin is plenty thick, I'm not the poster calling people out that I've already blocked, remember? I don't continuously do anything. In fact, I've posted maybe two days in regards to the ND situation. I have nothing against ND, other than the fact that they stole a coach away from a football team that just finished 3rd in the nation and are on their way to a BCS game. I realize its not just their fault, but the NCAA's fault for allowing, but to me its poor taste to approach a coach in the situation he was in, offer him the job, and expect him to take over before his current team's season is even finished. Its as much on Brian Kelly as it is the school, as its not his first time doing this act, but I feel all three parties at hand are responsible.

I'm not a ND fan, but not a hater. I owe nothing to the school or team, in all honesty. I've seen them win as much as they lose recently, which is neither here nor there. There seems to be a very clear basis in difference between the opinions of those that are ND fans, and those of us who really aren't fans at all, its caused those opposed to be lumped together, and for all ND fans to be lumped together. I apologize for my part in this mishap.

As far as my cig goes, that's just me being a Cleveland Browns fan NOT wanting to take another QB this year. There was a topic a while back where a lot of people wanted us to take him with our first pick, I didn't want us to, so this is the cig I went with.

Its not the opinions that I am upset about, its the fact that he can't just block me, or block the others, but he blocks us, then for some reason feels its necessary to let everyone know that he blocked us. If you don't like what some of us say, then fine, block us, but end it there, don't call out people when you aren't ready to hear their backing for their opinions.
