Bartman 100%. Cubs made errors, had shitty pitching, its not like one more out would have won them the WS.

Poor Steve Bartman. That could have been anyone.

Great documentary, and you gotta feel bad for the guy. Honestly though, if this was in Cleveland, and a fan prevented any Cleveland franchise from winning the title, I am sure it would be the same way. I for one would never forgive the guy.

Too bad they didn't get Bartman to speak in this documentary. It's crazy how nobody has heard form this guy since that play.

I would have reached for that ball. Can you honestly say you wouldn't have? 99% of baseball fans reach out and grab that ball.

As did every fan in the area, you see about 8 hands in the frame reaching for the ball.

Could that one cubs fan been a bigger douche. He was proud of the fact he threw a beer at and wanted to fight bartman. Fuck that guy.

Sorry but you can't blame Bartman given everything that happened afterwards. If anyone is to blame it's Alex Gonzalez for bobbling the easiest ground ball in history. Now I will say that if you're sitting in the front row on either the first or third base line you should be aware that players are going to try to make a play on the ball.

Jesus Christ, I didn't realize the media released his name and address. Why stop there - why not give away his social security number too? It's like they wished harm against him.

This is wild. I knew it was bad for him, but it's scary to think how people can overreact to a game. And I know it's not just in Chicago that people go overboard.

Watching this game reminds me how great postseason baseball is. I don't watch a game all year, but absolutely love watching the league championship series and the World Series. Just so intense.

Oh, I definitely would have reached for it. I see both sides. I feel bad for the guy, because it could have been anyone, and it really wasn't his fault they lost. I also can understand why a fanbase that is that passionate for their team feels the way they did as well. It is just a shitty situation all together.

I honestly don't see why Bartman doesn't agree to an interview now. I really think he could make a lot of money from it.
