Should be a great game! What can anyone tell us about Poland this year? I know that they are usually a run first team and if you can stop the run then you can usually beat them. Although their run is usually really hard to stop.

The Indians are looking good right now, especially the defense. Can't wait to see this one play out!

Go Indians! Pound Poland!

NW Schedule Info:

Orrville - 3-2 - (L) - Should end up 8-2
John Hay - 3-2 - (W) - Should end up 6-4 or 7-3
Canton South - 0-5 - (W) - Will be lucky to win a game, only chances are Salem and Carrollton
Padua - 1-4 - (W) - REALLY tough schedule, will be lucky to end up with more than 2 wins...quite a difference frome their great season last year.
New Philly - 3-2 - (W) - Should end up either 6-4 or 5-5
Poland - 3-2 - Should end up either 6-4 or 5-5 (again, very down from last year)
St. Charles - 2-3 - Should end up 5-5 or so (down from last year)
Canfield - 4-1 - Could easily go 8-2
St. Thomas - 2-3 - Will probably go 5-5
Barberton - 2-3 - Will probably go 5-5

Total (if we win out) - 46-44

Don't sleep on Poland. Colin Reardon is a legit QB. He can run or pass. He has a scholarship to Miami University. I would say they're pretty balanced this year. Jerry Lawman is pretty quick, and a good receiver out of the backfield. He'll get the majority of carries.

The defense may start out slow, but they're good at making adjustments. They're a very good second half team.

The kicker is only a Sophomore, but he's pretty consistent too.

I picked Poland to finish 7-3 this year, but I could just as well see 6-4 or 5-5.

This should be a pretty good game.

NW 28
Poland 14

NW smothering defense will hold the score down.
This is my opinion.

Northwest offense least amount of points scored this year is 27. they will score 28. can poland keep pace against a hard nosed defense.

Poland was a beast of a team last year loosing by 2 to Buchtel, but this is a different team from last year. Should be another great game. Poland is a good solid football program like NW and this game should be close.

If Fitch only scored 21 and 14 of them coming in the final 5 minutes you honestly believe they will score 28?

Should be a good game. Northwest is showing very good balance on offense. The defense has been stifling this year, minus the Orrville game.

Interesting match-up. Orrville has played Poland only once in the history of the program and it was a defeat in the state semis in 99. We had a 3 td lead at half and blew it in the 2nd half!!!

Anyhow...GOOD LUCK NORTHWEST! Bring the points to Orrville!

THIS!

Funny that they bring up the Fitch game, but then don't mention these scores... AGREED, we will score at least 28 on them.

Wow, I do not watch the rankings, but we went from 10 to 4 in one week? I just hope the moisture stays to a minimum. I don't mind wearing boots, but I am not a fan of loosing one one in the field! It was a little mushy 2 weeks ago, but we have had a bunch of water fall since then.

Isn't this the idiot who said how week Northwest's schedule was. Now in 4th and lots of points available in the last 5 weeks in one of the toughest Regions in the state.
Go Indians!

Yah that idiot went on about how NW wasn't even close to a top 8 team last week and how they would go 2-8 with Orrville's tough schedule.
