The back shoulder pass that was batted down in the endzone was a very very very nice pass, just an insane play by the defender

I thought that pass could've been a little more toward the sideline.

The kid proved he can beat the teams he should beat...a very good outing. More tests to come.

I thought that too. The announcers loved it, but it was definitely too far inside in my opinion.

But at least it wasn't 20 yards off the field of play, I thought for his first start he did fine, a long way to go but he'll get there as he plays more. Looks to be a great runner.

See the three following comments. I agree with them completely.
j_crazy;909933 wrote:Looked like denard running. Threw BAD passes but put the ball in good spots and seemed to make good reads. With a full arsenal in 2 weeks it should be fun to watch.

His receivers dropped a few, and the really BAD ruling by the officials that the receiver did not have control out of bounds on a beautiful sideline pass was ridiculous. Honestly, I don't know what the hell these guys were looking at, but he held on to the ball until he hit the ground.

Miller threw nice spirals during the Ohio playoffs last year, and was pinpoint on his passing. I expect as the whole thing slows down for him in college, we'll see the same thing.

I agree that Braxton is the answer, but your assessment is shaded by the scarlet and gray blinders you're wearing.

I'm saying if he throws a better spiral its easier to catch. Thus less drops and the play on the sideline was iffy. The rules make it sound like its not a catch until you make a move which is silly considering the wr was going ob.

Miller runs well, but he runs too much..Miller throws pretty well, but not tight spirals...blah, blah, blah. The kid's a true freshman, carrying the "savior" tag as an 18 year old before 100,000+ fans and hundreds of thousands of Buckeye fans throughout the country, and IMO did a damn good job on Saturday. He's got a lot of room for improvement, sure, but his upside is unbelievable...I sure am glad he's wearing Scarlet and Gray....GO BUCKS!!!!

Totally agree Vball. He's got tremendous upside potential. If we can somehow split the next 4 games with BM at the helm I think it will be a victory.

I don't expect wins at Nebraska and against Wisconsin, but I would be thrilled if we can get one of them. 2-2 is probably a best case scenario. Although I'm not convinced we can beat MSU and we always struggle at Illinois. 0-4 is still a definite possibility.

It wouldn't let me embed them so just watch. First is Troy. Second is Braxton. Looks eerily similar.
I thought the same watching him Saturday.
