I just hope Fickell gives him enough rope so he doesn't hang himself...he's going to make mistakes, but this will happen with a freshman QB, and this kid's our future...GO BUCKS!!!

This sucks, now I can no longer say I have the skill set to be a starting QB at OSU. Me and Bauserman have a simlar set of skills, we both can throw wounded ducks 10 yards out of bounds, and that's about it...

Should have been starting from the beginning. It's really unfortunate how predictable it was that the Miami game would make it abundantly clear that you just can't stick with Bauserman as a starter.
Miller should do alright against Colorado. The real tests begin after this weekend.

Hmmm I said at the beginning of the year it smelled like the Boeckman/Pryor situation and that's exactly what happened.

You really think you deserve credit for predicting Braxton Miller would be the starter? What part of Bauserman's 2/14 for 13 yards day made you think he'd get benched? I didnt predict, I said that I saw it yesterday that he would be starting. Do you actually think I watched OSU against Miami to know his stats? Come on now. Keep twisting everything. SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE STARTER FROM DAY 1, HE IS GOING TO MAKE SOME MISTAKES BUT AT LEAST HE WILL GET BETTER, I HOPE FICKELL DOESN'T ROTATE BAUSERMAN IN AFTER A COUPLE SERIES. WITH MILLER AND HALL RUNNING THE BALL ALONG WITH HYDE, OSU SHOULD HAVE 250-300 YARDS RUSHING SATURDAY BUT I WOULD STILL THROW 20 TIMES TO WORK ON THE PASSING GAME FOR THE BIG TEN SEASON.

I would not compare Boeckman and Bauserman. Boeckman was All-Big Ten the year before, however, he wasn't mobile in the pocket and the lin sucked that year forcing Tressel to play Pryor. I think if Miller starts the Toledo game OSU would have lost, and that would have been way more embarrasing than than losing to Miami. Bauserman still may be the better QB at this point, but if Fickell ran him out there again he would get boo'ed out of the stadium. Just like Braxton will get boo'ed vs. MSU next week. Miller is really struggling to pick up the playbook (even after enrolling early). Pryor did not enroll early and mentally picked things up much faster. He is going to make alot of mistakes, but we have to live with it for now.
It comes down what would you rather have, a QB that makes some plays and has 4-5 turnovers, or a QB that doesn't make plays but has zero turnovers.
