Nope, too long and too late....Plus Parenthood is Tuesday. If I hear great things I would start watching, but I have a feeling it won't last.

It only had 7 mil. viewers for the premiere, which wasn't too hot compared to the competition last night...

I didn't watch it I thought it didn't look that great so I'm waiting for reviews on it before I start to watch it.

I watched. It was a little too weird for me. Like voo-doo and spirit stuff. It was still interesting though.

I've watched all 3 episodes of HBO's "Luck" and I just can't get into it. Not sure what the all-star "B" cast sees in this that I don't. A paycheck, perhaps.

I'm actually happy to hear taht..I watched the pilot and it was the most boring god damn thing I've ever seen...I haven't seen an episode since.

And I love HBO and Showtime shows more than anyone (watching an episode of Game of Thrones right now)...I was so pumped for Luck after seeing the cast, but I just couldn't do it.

Saw today where HBO cancelled "Luck"....Not because the show sucked, though, but because apparently a 3rd horse has died on the set. Seems a bit bizarre.

HBO couldn't handle the embarrassment of that cast and crew putting out a shitty show, but that was definitely the case.

Interesting little ending to Game of Thrones...spice the season up a little.

There are so many god damn plot lines, it's almost hard to keep up with it all.

Thought it was really getting interesting plus Jeffreys chick was topless in the series finale.

It's one of very few shows that always leave me wanting so much more. It's simply amazing how many characters and plot lines they are able to do such a good job of developing in just under an hour. Has to be the most efficient/effective writing I've seen in a long time.

And, by the way, another excellent show tonight. Boy do I want king pre-pubescent to die a horrible death.

3 shows that I watch have been canceled after one season. Alcatraz, The River, and Missing. Wow that blows.

I liked Alcatraz, the plot was interesting and Sarah Jones is a favorite.

I think it was on the canceled list but I could be wrong.

I watched Alcatraz and Missing....Missing I can kind of see why it's canceled, but we still enjoyed it.

Alcatraz was really good and I'm ticked that it got the axe...It was a good show.

I've been watching Awake (very original), Missing, Castle, Shark Tank, Modern Family, The Office, American Idol, and Celebrity Apprentice.

I'm pretty bummed Awake is being canceled. I think they can finish the story on "Missing" so if they do, I won't be too bummed about it.

I keep hearing people say they couldn't get into Alcatraz because there wasn't a love story to go along with it. That's dumb.

I had only watched the first episode of Missing so far but I thought it started out decent. Maybe Judd's political commercial hurt the show.

I noticed the show Scandal has already been renewed for a 2nd season. I turned it off after 15 minutes. It may end up being a solid show but I couldn't get into it due to the political bias.

I watched almost all the first 3 episodes of Alcatraz and just found it uncompelling. Basically a rip-off of Cold Case/Law & Order/NCIS whatever...not particular original other than some curious supernatural twist that was too slow to develop, IMO. I think that's the key to failing to capture and maintain the needed audience. Probably a miscalculation that the Lost fans would just dive in for the long-haul, but unlike Lost which was far more original in content thru-and-thru you had a relatively poor imitation of Cold Case with some BS thrown in that people lacked enough patience to see where it was going.

I'm not sure how it was a rip off of Cold Case/Law & Order/NCIS. Cold Case was obviously about solving older cases. Alcatraz was about catching criminals who were taken in 1963 and brought back in 2012. They weren't solving cases the criminals committed. I'm assuming you just mean the flashback aspect gut? I thought it was a good idea for a show but apparently others didn't.

Certain things just don't make sense to me. Are You There Yet Chelsea with Laura Prepon was canceled but Whitney was renewed.

It's really frustrating to get engrossed in a show only to have it canceled after one season.

Just out of curiosity gut which shows do you like?

This is the reason I decided to not watch shows until they get to a 2nd season. The did this last year with Chicago Code and Detroit 1-8-7, and I was pissed!!

Well, I like all those shows I mentioned. Alcatraz felt a lot like Cold Case/L&O to me, they're piecing together an MO and trying to find his next target. Cop/detective shows have all been done, all he did was repackage it with a twist that was frustratingly slow to reveal itself.

Also watch Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men, Big Bang Theory, HIMYM and several others.

And to the above poster, I was also irritated when they axed Chicago Code. Now THAT was a new cop show with a twist that made sense, as to my knowledge corruption has only been a central theme on The Shield and The Wire.
