My dad purchased this o 8 track the day before we drove to Canada in a 74 Imperial Lebaron with Mom, 2 brothers and a sister.

He never took the fucking thing out. to this day, I can remember what songs and where the songs went dead for the effin machine to change tracks and continue :(

Can't listen to any song on that album without completely reminiscing about HS football season my Sophomore year. Listening to EI and being in awe as we got police escorts out of town for away games

Sophomore year of college. Girl I was banging was a HUGE Thrice fan. Thing I really remember about that fall was that it was a really cool and rainy fall, and the music just seemed to fit.

Sorry, just seeing those album covers just instantly brought back extremely vivid memories

That girl had really good taste in music then.

The first album I posted (The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me by Brand New) is also an excellent fall album. Just fits the mood.

Loved this album too, as it introduced "Regulators" and some other good tracks:

Another good soundtrack that was very memorable:

Also loved this album, and still currently listen to it:

I'll 2nd this one. Was a big Smashing Pumpkins fan.

Edit:

However, I think this album was one of my favorite, more memorable, Smashing Pumpkins albums.

Still have it somewhere. I might need to rip it onto my computer.

I think that I miss the days where I actually listened to and remembered the "albums." In the age of MP3's, it's even heavier instant gratification, going only to the songs I like, creating playlists full only songs I like.

I absolutely loved this album in college (White Stripes, Elephant). When Metroid Prime first came out, I would mute the volume, put in my new White Stripes CD, and play for hours on end. They were both new to me at the time, so that is the only reason I wanted to get as much of each as possible. Now, when I listen to that album, all I can think about is Metroid.

(Mmmmm... Samus).
