I hope he just keeps Rees as the starter. Far from perfect but at least he made some good plays as well whereas I can't remember too many, maybe any, good plays made by Crist last week in the half that he played.

I hope Rees stays at the starting position.
But I wouldn't mind seeing Golson or Hendrix in there a times to keep the defense on their toes.

I am an OSU ALUM and I took my wife (UM alum) to this game as part of her anniversary gift. I have been to 4 years of OSU games as a student including 2002 OSU UM and the 2005 Texas game. Last nights game was the loudest, most electric environment I have ever seen at a college football game.

The problem is Kelly can't play either of the two young guys when the game is going as the first two have. Could have happened last night if they had stretched the lead like they should have.

Agree and disagree. I agree about the 1st down offense. I almost lost my voice everyksig489;891466 wrote:Michigan coaching was AWFUL last night. Denard could have run the zone read EVERY snap but they chose o only run it 5-6 times. Too much first down passing. DBs playing too far off corners. NO SAFETIES on NDs go ahead touchdown. Its a good thing Denard Robinson and his WRS came to play or the UM coaches would have coached that game away.
time they ran play action pass.
I didn't think the DBs played too far off very often. But then again, I'm used to RRod playing DBs 15 yards off every freaking play.
There was supposed to be a safety on that play, but he was in outer space. They dropped 8 into coverage and still let someone behind them. That was on the players.

Doubt it, especially with all the suspended starters back. Notre Dame couldn't even beat Michigan. Plus, Notre Dame hasn't beaten OSU in nearly 70 years.WebFire;891559 wrote:Maybe, but Notre Dame might be OSU.

Not even close. I am just not impressed with Notre Dame this season. I thought they'd win yesterday and actually thought they'd be decent this season, but after watching two pitiful games in which they were the better team but still managed to screw the pooch, I don't think they have what it takes yet.karen lotz;891620 wrote:dwccrew = sleeper?
Not sure how thinking ND couldn't beat OSU puts me on Sleeper's level. It's not like I pointed out how they have been irrelevent for 20 years. Then you could maybe make the assumption that I was Sleeper.

I hope Rees is the starter. He's fun to watch. Seems to get it, more than Crist. Rees is a gamer.

ND is better than Toledo. Toledo outgained OSU and took em to the wire. How is it out of the question for OSU to lose to ND? The last 70 years have nothing to do with this team OSU has right now. An Unproven QB, decent Wr's, good TE and a suspect line. Its not like OSU is the juggernaut they have been in years past.dwccrew;891570 wrote:Doubt it, especially with all the suspended starters back. Notre Dame couldn't even beat Michigan. dwccrew used to be cool IMO but this 70 years stuff is just reckless venom. Whatever. Pile on if you like.

And this year, ND would have a very good chance at beating OSU.

I don't think Notre Dame could win against Ohio State if they turned the ball over as frequently as they have. But then again with Bauserman at the helm I'd bet on the Irish for the hell of it.
But why the hell are we having this discussion?

That was my point to dwccrew. Toledo COULD beat Michigan. And Notre Dame COULD beat OSU. I'm not really sure either is out of the question. But what does any of that prove?sjmvsfscs08;892165 wrote:I don't think Notre Dame could win against Ohio State if they turned the ball over as frequently as they have. Props to Junior Hemmingway.
Dude came to Ann Arbor as a highly rated WR, and he's been nothing but injured his whole career. It's awesome that he's been able to bounce back, and Denard certainly trusts him.

If any year ND could beat OSU, it would be this year seeing as it is one of the most down years in the last decade for OSU. I didn't say it was out of the question, I just doubt it. Especially once OSU has all of the suspended players back. It's funny to see people take things so out of context (not you Web, specifically).

Players back or not I still don't think I could confidently say Ohio State would win that game.
