Thank God. Just get the ball in the playmaker's hands.

Stunned Rees is going in. Dont necessarily disagree with it, but Im stunned.

Its kind of lose-lose (going forward, not for today per se). If Rees plays well and wins, he has to be the starter for the rest of the year right? If he plays poor...well youve just fucked over the position. Situation 1 isnt bad, but taking out your starter after 1 half is just odd, because I doubt Rees plays every half perfect...in which case does Crist come in? No.

Panic button move. Hopefully he plays well and leads them to a win, but what happens if he struggles?

There's difference between a quarterback playing a poor half and being right in the game and playing a poor half and being down 16-0 at home to an inferior team though.

The Irish need a spark.

As I said, I dont disagree. But it is a panic. I wouldve liked Rees to be the starter to begin the year personally. But Im not a fan of pulling a guy after a half, and potentially (i know he is weak if this is the case) ruining the season for him should we need him (Crist).

Good move by the snapper snapping his head down.

Wood and Floyd should touch (be targeted) the ball 60% (if not more) of the plays in this half.

That was on the QB as much as the reciever. he threw a bullet at close distance.

No. You have to look for the ball. Too much traffic to not put mustard on that pass. His first couple options were covered.

I understand that, but it was also behind him. If he leads him with more touch, it's a completion.

Rees looks good. Offense looks better. God hates Notre Dame right now. :(
