Just curious.... Why in the he'll did the tribe not put in a claim for delmon young. He's a right handed power bat but were dumbasses and let him go to Detroit. And of course he's been tearing it up with them

Not sure how it works exactly, but I would have loved to see the tribe block detroit from getting him.

We need Thome to lead us to victory tonight and put us back over .500!

I think had we put in a claim it would have blocked... it has to do with record, which is how the White Sox could have fucked us over on Thome.

Missed last night's game as I was at the Mud Hen's game, but I'm hoping to see a Tribe win tonight. Another important start for Fausto Carmona. Here's hoping he can keep up his recent winning ways.

Not that it really matters as it will take a monumental collapse by Detroit for us to catch them, but they still in refuse to lose mode.

Spotted Verlander a 4-0 lead that he blew giving up 2 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th. Then the Tigers answer with 2 more in the 7th.

6-4 Tigers Bottom 7. Verlander starting the 7th at 116 pitches. They ride him so hard.

Because he is "old school". "Give me the ball" attitude. It's refreshing. Not this pussy pitch count and relievers throwing two thirds of an inning and done for two days BS.

Agree with the "old school" mentality but these teams shell out so much for their "investments" that they want to get as much out of them as possible, in the long haul.

You know as well as me that back in the day you'd have to fight a starting pitcher to get him off the mound. A lot of his compensation/bonuses were predicated on how many complete games he threw.

I really like Hosmer. He could be a good one.

Another RBI for him. 1-1

Druby comes up big...but Carrera is a butcher in CF.

35,000 showed up and were loud and boisterous. There seems to be a new energy since Thome was obtained.

Need a glittering Wahoo here!...Tribe goes for the sweep tomorrow.

Tribe doing what they have to do but unfortunately it looks like the Kitties are never going to lose again.

Jerad Head making MLB debut in left tonight.

Looking forward to the day when Head gets on to setup a Chisenhall walk off shot.
