With the Tribe getting clubbed by the Tigers and the 27' Yankees....god knows what will happen against KC. What does everyone expect?

It seemed like a great idea when we exchanged the tickets in June (I had tickets to the other Mariners rainout, can't make the makeup).

Alex White made his First start yesterday and got roughed up by the Astros, allowing 5 runs in 6 innings.

If this is the end...and it probably is...the team and players deserve some props. Most baseball pundits thought they would be one of the worst teams in baseball to start the season, and NOBODY mentioned the words Indians and contention in the same sentence. Despite being decimated by injuries and a roster stocked full of AAA players, they managed to keep us entertained deep into the summer. If they can manage another run at getting back into this, it would be a bonus. If it were not for the White/Pomeranz trade for Ubaldo...I'd be very optimistic for next year.

ill be up there friday...hoping it is jim thome's return/celebration of 600
it's been a unexpected fun ride this year. it kind of sucks that they essentially played themselves out of it and unraveled everything they accomplished up until this point (yes stranger things have happened and they might have one more run in them but unlikely) in less than a week. hopefully we can chalk it up to young player growing pains and we'll be even better next year

I will be up there Friday as well missing week one of high school football......I bought the tickets 2 weeks ago when we were closing that gap between us and Dertoit. BUT it IS dollar dog night and the country music top 20 fireworks show after the game, plus I will be right behind home plate so I too can watch third strikes go by

It would be really cool to get Thome back...Sandy Alomar and Jim Thome were my favorite players growing up watching the Tribe.
It has been a very fun season and one that none of us expected. Let's just end the season on a positive and winning note.

Amen to Thome and S. Alomar on an earlier post, they were fun to watch......Hey, the Tribe is only back 6 with 35 games to go, anything can happen. I think Detroit will falter for about 10 games, the ? is whether the Tribe can make ground in those 10 games.
Where is Kipnis? It seems like we went into the tank when he left.

I agree....Kipnis really provided a spark for this team and once he went to the DL, this team just looks like 2010 all over.
