It's Ricky being Ricky doesn't offend me in the least. I am all for Free speech. I think he is just trying to get a rise out of people and be provocative, now if he really wants to show he has some guts he should do Allah next. thoughts?

Atheists who have to proclaim they are atheists are just as bad as the religions that they cannot stand.

Yeah. 'Tis about as annoying as the people who "make their point" in a discussion by posting a bible verse or something non-relevant along those lines. Congrats for screaming your non-faith/faith. No one cares.

This coming from a man who's user name is "Heretic." Oh the irony.

He wanted to get a reaction out of people, and he's doing it. Why people care if someone else is an atheist/hates god/makes fun of religion/whatever is beyond me. More room in heaven for you.

The same reason that atheists care about people believing in God. I honestly don't undestand either group for caring.

His name is based on the video game of the same name. Where is the irony?

Absolutely correct! Atheists who "preach" and condemn are essentially a religion unto themselves.

I have my own thoughst on the matter of religion. But I think it is okay for people to not hold religious beliefs as so sacred that they are off limits for humurous purposes. Granted certain Islams will visit you with their patented Head Removal Service if you poke them too much, but hey, that means the humor is doing its job.

I agree, Atheism has turned into it's own sort of religion in a way. The only time it's understandable for an Atheist to get upset about people being religious is when it begins to effect them(i.e. governing based on religious beliefs.) Which may be Ricky's beef, don't know, didn't read the article.

You kidding? You can make fun of Christianity all you want, no one will get hurt. You make fun of Allah and they will find you and cut your head off. Religion of peace, baby.

This is what I used to always say, but stepping back and thinking about it, this doesn't even make sense anymore.

Why would I be offended? What he does has no affect on my life. If you want to see someone get "offended" Ricky should mock Allah.

Putting his life in danger? He didn't mock Islam, he mocked Christianity. Big difference.
