That score is suprising to me ... They will not beat Mooney like that .. If at all, and they will not beat Massillon like that either ....Massillon will give that Del. team crazy fits just bank on it .. Ursulin has been scheduling some monsters ,but they will contend for a title for sure and may win another.

You don't stop there, you include this, "Despite having 100 yards more of offense than them". One may think you're done now, but no, you pull this out of your bag of tricks, "even IF Ursuline does not turn it over, Red Lion would still have won."
Dude...everyone tries to justify a loss with posts like that. To act like it's the first time you've ever read a post like that is just silly. Many teams do the same thing after a loss...including yours.

Exactly. It's like people saying, "the officiating didn't decide the game, but ...". They're saying it did, but lack the stones to say it outright.

You get beat by this kind of margin, you got destroyed, I don't care about yards.

I guess people would be really surprised to find out 95% of Red Lions kids live and grew up in DE and less than 30 minutes from the school.... but its true. Most are all from the Newark-Bear-Wilmington area.. only 3 starters are from near by neighboring states .. and the kicker and Def End #50 are foreign kids from Canada.. My kid is one of the out of state kids and is a freshman and he lives the furthest away of any of the kids on the team and we drive 45 minutes from MD but we only do that because we haven't been able to sell our house(bad market) and have been trying to move to DE for over a year which is much closer to my wife's job.. seriously the whole thing has been blown way out of proportion...

The QB's on all 4 of their state championship teams were from Trumbull County. Ursuline is only a few miles from the county border.

Kempe is from Girard, and Swogger I believe was from Brookfield but started his HS career at Mathews.

I don't know but I think that Lima Central Catholic will give Ursuline a good game.
