No Verlander! Will not pitch Sunday. And c'mon guys we have 6 weeks left. A lot can happen before October.

Masterson is a leader in the clubhouse and I'm sure the other kids love batting behind him. Hopefully run support will benefit him the rest of the season!!!

Great story. Chartered flight was $35,000. Masterson passed the hat in the clubhouse and raised the bucks to get him home.

Was this announced or something? Or just a guess? It would be his normal rest, since they had an off day. I dont see why Leyland wouldnt throw him, it doesnt make any sense.

Heard on the radio this morning he's not scheduled to pitch. Doesn't mean he can't or won't.

If Dolan doesn't read that story and pay back the players I will be pissed. He makes more per home game than Masterson makes all season.

If this was the last series of the season, I think he would defiantly go, but Leyland is old school and doubt he messes with the rotation to put more meaning on one game than another.

He just recently did that with Verlander in the last series against Cleveland.

Choo may be the best in the league at striking out in a "move the runner over" situation. You can't teach that...you either have it or you don't...he is the best

Fukudome knocks Humber out of the game..literally. We will get 7 plus innings of the sox bullpen.

I would consider Stewart a long reliever given that he has been included in the starting rotation at times this year.

He would probably only bring his speed and propensity to hit grounders, and subsequently GIDP over. We wouldnt see his HRs and RBIs because, well, he wouldnt see our pitching.

Matt LaFUCKINGPorta!!!!!

I loved that Underwood is so stunned to see him hit a HR, his initial call was basically going to be a fly ball.
