Well, um, yeah I was actually looking for something with a little more substance. I mean, do you actually know the guy? And geez, you guys worshipped the biggest charade on the planet for ten years, but now you have some kind of "fan integrity" that won't allow you to root for them anymore if they hire a guy you think has an ego?

Charade? I'll chalk this post up to ignorance, for the fact that you definitely didn't take time to read all 100+ pages of the NCAA interview with Tressel. Maybe then you'll understand...

Tressel placed protecting an ongoing federal drug investigation on a hierarchy above the NCAA. Did he violate NCAA rules? Yes. Did he violate morals? Hell no.

Yes, some might say, a "narcissistic doooosh". But I'm still interested in the specific reasons why some people would drop their loyalty over the hiring of Urban Meyer.

Personally, I wouldn't mind the hire at all--I just didn't like your general characterization of "us guys worshipping the biggest charade on the planet for ten years" bullshit, that's all.

Actually has nothing at all to do with it...but I wouldn't expect you to think at that abstract of a level.

After all, you think people can provide proof that future events will happen..

Ha ha. I was mostly kidding. Mostly. As I mentioned, I'm wondering if the people who would go to that extreme (renouncing their allegiance to OSU) actually personally know the guy or base their perception off a couple things they saw on TV that may or may not accurately represent the real person. You know, kind of like if they turn on a TV these days they'd see Jim Tressel being portrayed as a charade?

I know where you're coming from (I think), and I'm sure there are people out there who will, or say they will, go to that extreme....for me, I will support whoever's in charge, and if it's an Ohio guy--all the better!!!
