Why didn't Chiz hit for donald? The same reason pronk didn't hit for duncan. Acta sitting on his hands.

Makes no sense.

Hell, Pronk could have hit for Donald... You'd still have Chiz to come in and play 3rd afterwards..

You're right though, I'm just saying it doesn't make sense that there was no pinch hitter for Donald.

4 GB now with 2 more against these assholes.. Then we get to lose to Detroit to put us out of our misery this season.

Also, Santana is absolutely horrible behind the plate.

Yeah, finding a catcher would be a top priority for me going forward. Move Carlos to 1st where he belongs, and get LaPorta the hell off the field where he belongs.

LMRO at the utter stupidity on LaPorta....clueless. A quick turn and throw nails the runner.

Yep. LaPorta looked like a complete dumbass on that GW play.

I also despise a closer blowing a game with 2 outs. It's the most frustrating thing in baseball for me.

Yes, not hitting Pronk for Kearns against a right hander in the 8th was a manager brain cramp. Manny Acta is not qualified.

There was 3 times that Pronk could've been used and he couldn't have done any worse. Acta is a fucking idiot

The good news is, as soon as this series ends, the entire rest of the Tribe's season consists of 15 series, and...

a) 4 series are head to head with Detroit
b) 10 of them are against 5 of the bottom 6 teams in the AL (Seattle, KC, Oakland, Minnesota, and Chicago), missing only Baltimore.

No Yankees, Rays, Red Sox, or Angels, and only 3 more games with Texas. Can't ask for anything more than that.

Great breakdown. It's frustrating, but it's still only 4 games... We still have 52 games left. Imagine if this were the NBA and a team was 4 GB 30 games into the season. Don't think anybody would be saying they were out of it.

The bright side is that's the formula we used to jump out to that big lead in April/May. Here's hoping they can still turn this thing around.

How is that good news? Here is their record against those teams, 22-26

Detroit (4-3)
Chicago (1-7)
KC (8-4)
Seattle (4-0)
Oakland (2-1)
Minnesota (3-6)
Texas (0-5)

Watching the replay right now. It was nice seeing Acta get into Pestano's ass after that walk. he should probably pull the whole bullpen aside and rip them a new one for their shitty performance of late.
