And Shelly makes it 7-2 with a long fly!

I just think its fucking stupid to base the trade on tonight. You traded a guy who is a year away and one with a finger injury your last prospect never healed from for a guy who when he's good he's got stuff no one has.

97 on the radar and a perfect pitch for strike 3.

Ubaldo not having a problem with velocity. 96-98 on his last 3 fastballs.

My opinion on the trade has nothing to do with what happens tonight. I was against it from the beginning. I really hope I'm proved wrong.

The trade was a no brainer, imo.

Alex Miller has made 3 starts... 3. And he already went out with the same injury that sidelined Adam Miller and derailed his entire career... Remember, Adam Miller was the "next big thing" as well..

You can't bitch about always rebuilding and never going for anything, then bitch when they do do something. I'm glad the Tribe FO finally showed some balls and went for it. If Ubaldo was a FA after this year, then yes, I'd be PISSED.... However, we have him for TWO more years AT LEAST.

I agree with your 2nd point. The FO showed some balls and went out and made a big trade. But it wasn't a no brainer.

Hard to pitch in this shit as evidenced by the Tribe actually scoring runs. I am taking nothing away from this start either way, even if he shuts them down for the next 3. His shit is filthy no matter what.

IMO, and in their opinion, it was.

Prospects are prospects. Point blank. And the percentage of highly touted pitching prospects actually becoming what they were supposed to, is actually alarmingly low.

This is very true. Again, I say I hope I'm proved wrong.

That's right OQB...my man Duncan, who should have NEVER been sent down at any time...Kearns playing ahead of him...sheez!

And on Alex White comments....this is why I didn't like the trade...he proved himself at the major league level and will be back and do well, imo........however.....I have to agree...he ain't doin' it NOW and Ubaldo IS! So I'm ok with it for now.

Yes! Especially right now because he seems to be hot at the plate... IF we did get him, he'd probably be in a 1-35 drought lmao.

Ubaldo falls behind Josh Hamilton 3-1 and then makes him his bitch on two straight heaters.

Dude. If Ubaldo has stuff no one else has, then why are the Rangers pounding the shit out of it? Why was the guy a paltry 6-9? An ERA of 4 and a half? Alex White didn't have any first game jitters.

I love Duncan because he will do anything the coach asks him to do and he has really done a lot while in the Indians uniform....I agree he should stay up and be a utility guy.

It's 105 and the park is a band box. Alex white isn't pitching anywhere tonight or next week or next month. Ubaldo n masterson will make it hard to lose series

Numbers don't lie....he has every right to be pissed...

Pounding the shit out of him? He's retired 8 straight hitters, has around 7 K's and has given up 3 runs... How exactly is that "pounding the shit out of"???

Alex White also took a subtle shot at Cleveland when he left, so fuck him.
