http://www.boston.com/business/articles/2011/08/04/budweiser_can_redesigned/Anheuser Busch unveiled a bolder, sleeker design for its cans yesterday that puts a heavy emphasis on the “bow tie’’ design it has made a focus in recent marketing.
It’s the 12th redesign since Anheuser-Busch began offering Budweiser in cans in 1936.

Budweiser is about all I drink anymore. When they came out with the (above photo) patriotic cans for the 4th....it was hard to find it. Everyone was buying them. So can graphics sell, smart move by AB.

I see that they are working on marketing instead improving the same mass produced product they always have.
If it’s free, nothing else is available and I don't care about taste I’ll drink a bud or miller (maybe coors, I’d have to be very thristy and hot) product. I would not buy one.

I still like Budweiser. Not a fan of Bud Light etc... but a Bud still tastes good to me even though I can be a bit of a beer snob at times.

I dunno, just not a fan of it or bud light. I mean, I'll drink it if it's free and won't bitch about it like an asshole, but I wouldn't pay money for it. The only Anheiser product I really like is Busch Light, which probably tastes like piss to most people.

Ah fair enough. I mostly drank PBR in college and most ppl think it tasted like shit. I can't really drink it anymore though as it now gives me wicked hangovers and I dont like the taste as much anymore. Tastes change/are different.

I think it is exactly what it is. A low APV for a cheap price that is easy to drink without much flavor. If going cheap, I much prefer Schaeffer, PBR, Genny Ice, Natural Lite. Of course this will all change come October when I’ll be switching to Yuengling for the cheap stuff.

Bar by my house has $1 PBR's on Friday nights. Leads to some nasty headaches and diarehha Saturday morning.
