most IPA's have a slight fruit undertone, add in the fact that they contain as much alcohol as 2 rice beers, and its an unbeatable combination. they truly are the GOAT.

Is that the opposite of "people with the taste of pigs?". Count me in.

A good IPA is a great beer, though most IPAs I tend to not like. Tend to be too bitter or something, just not refreshing. But a good IPA is GOAT, but is also risky.

I dont care what they do to the can I will still drink 12+ a week. I'm in the minority but I think bud out of the can is the way to go.

I'm a fan of the bitterness. I'm not sure there's ever been an IPA that I didn't like.

Yeah, but golf is a terrible sport, and you can prove definitively that OSU is a top 10 school in the country. Beer is an opinion, there is no right or wrong answers, only douches who think random obscure beers are better than the most selling beers of all time. Enjoy mediocrity.

The same douches think that a piece of beef from Mancy's or Ruth Chris or Morton's is beter than a piece of beef from McD's or Burger King. The nerve, go figure.

What one likes is 100% subjective, what constitutes a great vs. good vs. bad beer has a substantial objective element.

Bud tastes like piss, that is my opinion. Sleeper himself said that there are no right or wrong answers, except apparently saying bud tastes like piss is wrong. Oh well. Mediocrity is sweet.

I'm not knocking IPAs. Dogfish 90 minute is amazing....I'm saying that there are some bad tasting IPAs out there and I'd gladly take a good old Bud heavy over those "cultured beers" any day of the week and twice on a gameday.
On a semi-related note, Columbus and more specifically the OSU area drinks more Anheuser-Busch products per capita than anywhere in the country. In fact, the Columbus Bud plant off 315 does not produce enough beer to satisfy the demand of the state of Ohio haha.

Definitely on a gameday. If I'm going to be drinking all day long, I need a lighter, more domestic beer. That stronger, heavier stuff takes a toll!

It's all marketing. A simple mind can't see past it, so we know where you fall.

the label on the Arrogant Bastard Ale explains it pretty accurately.
"This is an aggressive ale. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory–maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it’s made in a little brewery, or one that implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beverage will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make things taste better. Perhaps you’re mouthing your words as you read this."
