Wouldn't it be Avatar as the best movie of all time?

I don't know about Titanic, but McDonalds is the best low cost hamburger of all time. I'm not sure what point you are trying to make, but you probably don't have a job with a salary so you have all the time in the world to explain it to me.

'tis the season for delicious summer ales...this one takes the cake IMO

When you first start drinking, Bud is definitely one of the better tasting beers. But, once you broaden your horizons and taste higher quality beers, Bud honestly tastes like poo. Ill stick to spending more money to enjoy my beer and save the cheap beer for chugging at parties.

It is very clear. Your price point is more important than quality. You would have rather have mediocre goods at a good price than better quality for a higher price. Nothing wrong with that. But to say Budweiser is the best beer because it is tolerable/drinkable and cheap is a fallacy.

Nice style. If you can’t argue, attempt to downgrade and make erroneous assumptions about the other person.

I get the points made by both sides. I don't generally just drink a few beers when I drink therefore I would rather go out and spend 18 or 20 for 24 Budweisers over paying 32 to 36 for the same amount of higher quality beer. I don't think people actually care when other people say they don't like a certain beer but it's when you go with the "why do you drink that nasty shit" that people get irked. Don't ask me why people take the ripping of something they like personally but we do it. Lately I have picked up a 6 of a "higher quality" beer and then an 18 of the King.

My buddy brought me a couple Summer Shandys last night. I don't know how high quality it is but it's a decent tasting beer.

You hold your can upside down when you drink?

Everything they do down in Stuebenville is "upside down".

I don't know what Strongbow is lol.

I went to the store tonight to find a new beer to try. I noticed some of the ones that have been named on here before but I couldn't bring myself to get any of them. I was told by a couple of other guys in the store that most of the Great Lakes stuff is strong so I didn't get any of it. I have wanted to try Guinesss but I just couldn't bring myself to buy it. So I went with Shiner Bock.

There's no evidence that such and such beer is better than Budweiser. It is all personal preference, and people just throw out random obscure beers because their life is average and they want to associate themselves with something allegedly greater to justify their mediocre existence. As far as downgrading, look no further than this thread of beer snobs and their "your beer is shit, you should try my triple brew hops summer brand ale xxx#@ that I have in Swiss, its so much better". Get a life.

I'm a beer snob and I encourage everyone else to drink Bud/Miller/Coors...That way there are more craft beers on the shelf for me.

Yeah, I wonder what these people drink if they don't like Bud...

Honestly, I can be a bit of a beer snob, but readily acknowledge Bud is the best of the "cheap" beers, and actually Bud Select is a pretty decent light beer.

And NOTHING tastes better after a few holes on the golf course than a Bud Light (only time I'll drink Bud Light these days, and more of a nostalgia thing).
