I know that pic wasn't taken in NSB. There are no waves in Volusia County. BEet we had anywhere near there is Sebastian where myself, Nadine Spires and Kelly Slater used to surf when we were in high school.

That pic is from the contest this week. Huntington Beach, Cal.
Evan won 2 heats yesterday, round of 96 and 48. CJ Hobgood and Slater also winning.
I surfed a little back in the day when Frieda Zamba was world champ. I saw Lisa Anderson on the webcast yesterday being interviewed about today's women surfers. We don't have waves like Cali but we have world champs local talent !

17 yr old Evan Geiselman won again today, into the top 12 !





Slater also won, Hobgood lost to Taj Burrow in a close heat.

Concert on the beach webcast was good.
Evan lost to Aussie legend Taj Burrow, who is up against Slater in the Qtr. finals now.
