I like the "Aura" of Fenway, so to speak, but I hate the park itself. Garbage stadium.

Great win by the Tribe. This was a solid line up tonight. Carrera is starting to earn his stay with the recent play. Very solid job of getting on base.

Kipnis may be warming up. Dude was a beast tonight and would be a BIG boost to the offense, especially with Druby and Brantley doing their thing.

Also, heard that a sick kid in a hospital asked Druby to hit 2 HR's for him tonight. Awesome.

2 GB now and also picked a game up on Chicago who was breathing down our necks.

Finally our offense showed up!

I love the top of our lineup right now:
Brantley
Kipnis
Cabrera
Hafner

IF Kipnis can stay this consistent we could keep him at 2 and Choo could hit in the 6 or 7 hole to have a nice bat in the bottom of the order when he comes back.

We still have to to do .500 or better these two series with the Red Sox and Rangers

The offense has finally contributed. Now the question is can it be more consistent.

Huff goes tonight. He has to keep the ball in the park for the Tribe to have a chance. He's been pretty good since coming up. But this park can be hard on LH pitchers.

*edit...I just saw he goes against Beckett. Never mind. We don't have much of a chance at all.

Need to see MORE of THIS offense consistently and less of the "getting no hit into the 7th inning" offense. The pitching will do it's job.

still don't like Brantley in the #1 spot--switch him with Fuk--IMO he's better suited down the order

Just saw Carrasco was suspended 6 games. Will this move the Ubaldo start up?

I believe Carrasco is appealing the suspension, so he will be able to pitch until the appeal process is over.

Some amazing Boston stats.

Red Sox are 31-12 against teams with winning records. Hard to believe. Also, Sox destroy left handed pitching. 24-12 vs LH starters and a team OBP of almost .360 in those games. Huff will have to be magical tonight to get a win.

Beckett has given up 4 ER over his last 3 starts spanning 22 innings.

Go get em boys.

Yep, for whatever reason the Indians and White Sox have killed the Red Sox this year. 4-9 combined against those two teams. The only other team in the AL they have a losing record against is Texas, they were swept in those early season doldrums down there.

I dont have much faith tonight. Huff will have to be better than he has been, and Im not sure he CAN be better than he has been lol. Beckett is not only rolling, but always mows us down.

As for the line-up, I do like it better with Kipnis at the 2-hole. But Fuk still needs to be leading off and Brantley at 7. When Choo comes back, Brantley Carrera at 8-9 would be pretty nice to turn the line-up over. Especially if Carrera can keep up the "just shy" clip of .300 he has going.

If Boston doesnt tweak their rotation, this is good as we miss Beckett. But I doubt it, and we will close with Beckett and Lester. Fuck that.

nevermind, its a low low percentage and from the looks of the map, should clear up around 8pm.

well after a dissapointing AB by Brantley, Kipnis continues to be on fire.
