The tribe actually steps up against better competition. I actually think they can take 3 of 4 against Boston. I might be the minority but I would bat fukudome leadoff with Brantley batting 7th. It give our back end of the lineup some stability

Let's go Sox.

When is Jimenez scheduled to take the mound? Not 'til Friday, right?

Either Thursday or Friday...depending on his state of mind

Not in the minority on the lineup. I cant fathom why a guy hitting 5th has 14 RBI and 2 HR....put him 1 or 2.

This lineup played so much better with Brantley in the 7 spot

We have to have a split, at worst. Tonight's game is the key. And I'm in agreement with putting Fukuhomie in the top of the order.

I would swap Brantley and Fukudome in the lineup.

Or Carrera and Fukudome

yup--he just looks uncomfortable in the leadoff spot, and doesn't see the amount of pitches a leadoff guy should (ie too impatient)

What part of you wants to see Fuk with his 14 RBI and 2 HR bat anywhere outside the top 2?

Or is this tonights line-up?

Kinda OT but Ubaldo to make Indians debut Friday night vs. Rangers.

Choo will be making the trip. Hopefully he can be in the lineup at some point. This one here is the one you gotta have. Lackey can be gotten to and it would relieve a lot of pressure to get the first one and then win 1 of 3 to get a split or better at that point. Lose tonight and there is serious pressure to win 2 of 3 just to split. I don't like our chances vs Beckett or Lester. I wish we could have seen Andrew Miller. He has been garbage but we miss him.

Hope they are working on trades that will clear waivers....this offense could have us eliminated by the end of this seven game stretch.

Go Tribe!!

I don't think we should play Fuk. JMO. Obviously the Cubs gave a Fuk....for a reason.

Can't win the division this week, but we can definitely lose it. I'm cautiously optimistic about tonight's game with Lackey on the mound for the Sox. Hopefully a win tonight would give this team a little momentum and confidence.

Joy oh joy, Fatty McLackey on the mound. I fully expect 4 first-inning runs by the Indians.

Ellsbury is their leadoff guy and he has more homeruns than just about everyone on the Tribe....smh

I disagree. he watches too many good pitches. i understand he should be patient, but when you get a meatball right down the pipe, swing. dont let that strike go and then be swinging at a shitty breaking ball to pop up.
