Don't really understand why they use the yellow so much, but the white jersey, yellow pants and turtle helmet is the best combo IMO.

These are by far the two best helmets in all of football...

Maybe if they did away with the checkerboarded stripe down the middle?
I don't mind it looking "sort of" like a terrapin (or turtle) shell. But the yellow/black eventually turning red/white stripe is hideous. Then throw it with the uniform that is atrocious...not a good mix.

I don't know about that. Ohio State's helmet is certainly better than those. USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, Texas, Miami all have better helmets than Maryland.

UC is apparently not going forward with the black on black helmet. They did make some subtle changes to their jerseys, with some red striping as noted in these photos. I think they look pretty sharp. My favorite pic is #32 with the two team captains, JK Shaffer and Zach Collaros.

Those Boise and Oregon jerseys are freaking awesome.

Only in the B1G. If you noticed, the SEC, P-10/12, ACC allowed their players to get away with it. We've always had more strict enforcement of rules in the game.
