You have always been fair with us... I just recently found out that a local high school site that my friend run could sell for a grand or slight more if he were to sell it... Ever done the research or been contacted about a buyout? just would like to hear the offers and the temptations that you told people to stick up their a**es in the name of the OC...

To answer the question, the going rate for a website is roughly 5 months of income from it. I'm guessing Justin makes $200 to $250 in AdSense revenue per month (I'm actually just guessing on that). That would mean that the asking price would be $1,000 to $1,250.

I wasn't trying to be nosy or anything, I just wondered if you had ever looked up what it is worth. My friend that owns his site said its based on how many people log onto it daily... (I am assuming because advertisement would benefit) but just wondered.

Forums usually bring in a good bit of money because they get a bunch of hits. Didn't the puddle sell for a nice chunk of change?
