Did you come in from the West Coast for this game?

I guess if their fans did not keep harping on Big Red, no one else would know they were out there in West Steubenville.

At least the Sam & co. had something to cheer about last night. The halftime score of the Big Red game. Inferiority complex anyone?

Sos has been pretty quiet, but I guess that is what happens when you get a 50 spot hung on you by a D6 West Virginia team....at home!

And Oak Glen will win. I watched the last half of the IC-Linsly game once the Big Red game was over. IC couldn't do anything to stop Linsly's QB. Oak Glen, from seeing their Edison game, will run at will against IC.

I just like that haters are ribbing Big Red for finally winning against an Ohio school the same night that they lost to an out-of-state school. Oh, the hypocrisy.

I'm here... Say what you want really. I don't care anymore. This is YOUR thread and no matter how much I fight with the mods about your insecurities and your thurst for putting down area teams... I have stayed away for a reason and it has nothing to do with you guys. I'm just glad that since I have taken a relaxed position, you guys find it amusing amongst yourselves to chat about IC as well as me on your "Big Red" thread... Talk about LOOKING for a fight. I'm done here. You guys are reality in your own minds and I choose the real world. Yes we lost and so will you. Good Luck Big Red, I hope you guys get everything and more out of this season that you always hoped for... SoS is lovin' the Creek and headed back Home :)

Big Red FINALLY beats a team from their own state. Big sigh of relief in the 'ville.

Yea, our last one was a victory in the Region Championship game....something your school can only dream about.

Look at the roster from that D6 school from WV. I challenge you to find another school in the valley with that much size, speed, and athletism. They could beat most schools around here this year.

So the Columbus Crusaders....you know, the home-schooled team, can hold that great Linsly team to 20 points, at Linsly, but Indian Creek allowed 50+ on their home turf???

What could the valley all-star team do against them?

If we can get off the subject of SOS's rantings and ravings, there is another issue that is concerning me. After two weeks, Big Red's opponents have collectively won only two games. And in one case, there were two of our opponents playing each other, so one of them had to win. Buchtel, East Liverpool, Brooke, O'Hara, both St. Joes, and even Ursuline have not won a game. If we go 8-2 again, we will probably not have home field advantage in the playoffs. If we go 7-3, we probably won't make the playoffs. Am I the only one who is concerned about this?

Follow Fairwood's advice...

The ONLY reason you keep seeing me here is because either you miss me and constantly invite me back or my posts are more important than Big Red football. Tough one to figure out because no matter how much I try to stay away, you keep dragging me back.

I've been hearing this same stuff since the early 80's. Don't worry about points right now, it's too early. Basically all you have to do is have your defeated opponents go .500 and you will be swimming in points. And don't forget our divisor will be a lot lower than the other teams in our region when it is all said and done.

I agree. Over the years, the schedule has taken care of itself regarding the computer points.

In my opinion, a larger problem would be our passing game; a shaky start at best. While it's only the first game, it did not look good: Open receivers with balls thrown at their feet - with not much pressure on the QB, three interceptions, 1 for 7 overall; and that was just in the first half.

I look for a lot of passing plays in the next several games to get It right. Let's hope this part of our offense gets better.
Cheers.
