Cairo has to get a day off. I'd play Lewis for Bruce.

Let's have Yonder in LF, Heisey in CF and Lewis in RF.....that would be golden.

I was thinking abomination....but yeah....the Reds suck.

3 errors were given.....Bruce more than deserved one (but topped it off with his grat performance at the plate (0-5 with 4 K)......the ball under Cairo and off of Renteria....did it advance the runner from 1st to 3rd...if it did it should've been an error. Missing Rolen's defense some.

Do not think the ruled that an error but it may have. Bruce and the golden sombrero...I am thinking this team has had more of them this year than ever before!


This team is done. Yeah..they are only 5 out or whatever, but at some point in your season ya gotta realize you are what your record says you are.

Start seeing what the young guys can do. Do not get dillusional and trade for a big time bat or arm if it takes away the young future of the team.

I'm fine with that.....but would like Heisey or Lewis mixed in with Stubbs a decent bit and Bruce some.

Heisey was 2/4 last night...a 3rd hit would've guaranteed him some bench tonight.

Jay Bruce......bothced play in OF that could've picked up Cueto and Votto....but didn't even slide to attempt and then goes 0-5 with 4 K........but I think he has had success against the large Pelfrey.

Bruce has re gressed on defense this year. There were a couple of plays that woulda been a good play by someone else but I thought he should make.

Resting on his laurels possibly?

Beltran to the Giants. Reds will miss him next 2 games but will face him this weekend.

Well, assuming he wasn't going to sit out any games, they play the Mets 2 more times and Giants 3. That would be 1 extra game. This way he will have to face DTtrain though, which is much better than Arroyo for us.

haha I'm lost.

They still have 5 vs Mets, only 3 vs Giants. But 3 of those vs Mets he was going to be gone regardless.
