Nah, I get on 2 highways to get to and from work haha

On the way home, I get on the first highway (highway 18) for literally 15 seconds, then get off at an exit that leads me to another highway (technically it's a 'route', Route 1, but it's so damn busy I call it a highway) and my apartment is the first right turn getting on that 2nd highway.

But since there are no left turns.. going to work, I have to drive down Route 1 for a couple minutes, U turn, and then drive back and get on 18.

When I saw that in her FB status, I was thinking that was the school. That's awesome!

(and that was directed at justin! I thought I hit reply with quote. Obviously, I thought wrong)

20 minutes to work and 40 minutes to school, both in opposite directions so I usually spent an hour or two driving each day. Not too horrible but I drive a v8 awd so the gas mileage is terrible.

25-30 mins, so not bad at all. We live in a nice house out in the suburbs, and it's definitely worth the commuting tradeoff.

I don't know about the others, but I work as an auditor. My mileage that is not compensated is my normal commute (If I move to Cleveland I will be around 2 miles away). After the "commute" miles, the rest is charged to whatever client we are working on at the time. Right now it is $0.51 a mile, but rumor is the IRS may move it up to $0.55 pretty soon. The best part is that it basically pays for my gas, lunches throughout the week, and then some left over. I think with my new job (if I move) I will end up making $600 a month after gas expenses. Still sucks being in the car for an hour and 45 minutes a day.

About 30 miles takes about 25-40 min depending on traffic. I get no money for miles either which sucks. But it's not bad cause it's all highway
