Exactly. If OSU wanted to win, they would have.

My biggest arguement for Vince Young being first is that his team beat bush and linearts team and their 2 of the top 10 players in the past decade. VY was almost impossible to tackle in college people just slid down his body.

Yes on both accounts.
You telling me Tebow, Vince and Reggie wouldn't have lit it up against IU, Illinois, Purdue, Minnesota, Northwestern, and Michigan (the last three years)?

I thought VY should have won the Heisman his Junior year over Bush just like McCoy should have won it over Bradford.

I think the Tebow, Young, and Bush are pretty much locks to be on the list. Really can't imagine not having them on there. The other two spots are open to debate.
Not saying he would be on my list, but depending how we define the past decade, one name I'll throw out there for consideration is Ken Dorsey.

This is how I feel as well I think Bush, Young, and Tebow are your top 3 then 4 and 5 could be any number of players. Here is my list though.
1)Tim Tebow
2)Reggie Bush
3)Vince Young
4)Mario Williams
5)Jake Long

I considered Long, but remembered his performance against OSU (maybe Goulston) which was his only bad game in college.

Could make an argument for WVU's Pat White. He was a great college player. Very tough for every defense he faced

Floyd has missed probably 12 games due to injury and has 28 TD's going into his Sr year (an ND record and the same as Calvin Johnson had his entire career). When healthy he is a top ten player over the last decade. His Sophomore year he was the best receiver on a team with the Biletnikoff winner...

Interesting factoid included, but don't even dream that it means he's in the same galaxy as Calvin Johnson.athlete37;850418 wrote:Floyd has missed probably 12 games due to injury and has 28 TD's going into his Sr year (an ND record and the same as Calvin Johnson had his entire career). Plus the fact that Joe Thomas was and will always be better than Long....

Yeah, I'm having a hard time deciding who should fill the 4 and 5 spots. I think that Pat White is a good choice and is probably often overlooked for things like this. If Adrian Peterson had he been healthy his entire career, although that begs the question as to what defines "top" (does it mean best, best career, most talented?). I think that Troy Smith definitely deserves consideration based on his career in Columbus. Several receivers like Johnson, Fitzgerald, and Crabtree need to be considered. What Colt McCoy did is a four year starter is historic (I'll most likely include him because of his entire career). There are many others to consider as well, but I definitely think that Young, Bush, and Tebow are locks.
