Santana has no business catching and Laporta has no business playing 1st base. They both suck at those positions. Marson is a much better catcher and thrower.

exactly, and Santana doesnt have a good enough bat to make up for his fielding.

Question for you all...IF you were at the game(I know we have other non Tribe fans in this thread so they can answer to), and witnessed a No-Hitter/Perfect game against your team, are you happy at all that you were just a part of history? As a Reds fan, I say that I would only be happy if it were in the regular season and not the playoffs(Roy Halladay).

I would be on my feet at the end of the game clapping. then I would be pissed until the next day because they lost. then i would be ok with it when i woke up the next day because i saw a no hitter.

you always want to see a no-hitter. yeah it sucks to have it happen against your team but you just witnessed history.

Maybe, but not today. I could not be happy watching my fucking team commit 5 goddamn errors, give up a run on a passed ball and play like complete garbage. This current line-up is a total joke. And come Sunday night, we will get to hear how close the front office was to pulling off a deal, but just couldn't do it. " It takes 2 to tango" and we just couldn't find the right dance partner. Give me a damn break, just come out and say you aren't going to make a deal because the owner doesn't want to give up any of the cheap pieces we have in the minors that MIGHT be able to come up and help a year or 2 down the road.

One of the most unusual line scores ever today. 1-0-5. God we are turrible.

For Santana, it was a most unlikely performance. The 28-year-old righty came in 0-6 with a 4.98 ERA in 10 career starts against the Indians.
