The sick people. Yes, I know all Muslims aren't hateful, bloodthirsty psychos. But millions upon millions of them are. Sick, sick, sick religion.

Has it been confirmed who is responsible for the bombing?

Norway is a homogeneous nation so they will not have to kill many.

My instincts tell me these attacks were carried out by a group that has a beef with the government specifically the ruling labor party. The shooting on the island housed a labor party youth camp. The kind that brainwash the youth. It would appear to me that those responsible are likely domestic political radicals.

Of course islamic nutbags would not surprise me either.

Has it been proved it's Muslims that are responsible? This doesn't smell like them, it smells more political than religious.

Some people don't need facts to paint muslims as violent. They will take any opportunity.

There are unconfirmed reports that a terror group has claimed responsibility:
A terror group, Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami, or the Helpers of the Global Jihad, issued a statement claiming responsibility for the attack, according to Will McCants, a terrorism analyst at C.N.A., a research institute that studies terrorism. The message said the attack was a response to Norwegian forces’ presence in Afghanistan and to unspecified insults to the Prophet Muhammad. “We have warned since the Stockholm raid of more operations,” the group said, according to Mr. McCants’ translation, apparently referring to a bombing in Sweden in December 2010. “What you see is only the beginning, and there is more to come.” The claim could not be confirmed.

Nope. Never said anything like that. But at least recognize who our enemy is. This is an east versus west issue. There is widespread hate of the west in the Muslim world. And many of them are in the business of killing themselves in order to cause mayhem and death.

I'm going off of wire reports that indicate a Muslim group is behind this. And I take exception with your line that suggests it is hateful to point a finger at Muslims in cases like this. They have collectively earned that scrutiny. If you were to say Buddhists, Hindus, or Amish, I would agree with you. Muslims have caused enough violent death via terror in the past 30 years to warrant suspicion.

I think it's ridiculous to lump them all together in one giant group and blame all of them for the acts of some of them.

I think the general rule of thumb is that if someone claiming to rep the Muslims does something, it's an indication of that entire religion and they all are insane. While if someone claiming to rep the Christians does something, they're a deluded person/group that in no way, shape or form is a "real" member of their "great" religion.

Let me put it this way, if thousands upon thousands of Christians start making terroristic attacks against innocent civilians AND millions upon millions of Christians strongly support these acts, I'll say the same thing abotu Christianity. The act of a nutcase should not be used to paint an entire religion - I agree. With Muslim terrorists, we're not talking about an isolated act or the works of an extremist. Muslim terrorism is widespread (including being committed against other Muslims) and enjoys widespread support in the Muslim world. Way, way different than any other part of the world.

Get on TV or get lots of news coverage and burn several Quran's and then also burn several Bible's and lets see what happens and which group of "Insane Fanatical's" react.

Can you say Inquisition?... I mean it's been a couple hundred years but lot of Christians support it. Many still do but are too big of pussies to strap a bomb around their balls in order to meet their maker via express lane.
