Chad Durbin really does suck, and his beard is ugly too.

Just read that Blake isn't sure when he will come back this year from a sore neck. Hopefully that means the Indians have no interest in him, he is probably my least favorite tribesman of all time.
NO WAY!

Pestano should have started the 9th...Durbin had no business being out there.

Blake wasn't a terrible player, and I appreciated that he fought and played hard. I just couldn't understand why Wedge always seemed to find a way to have him in the starting line-up everyday, even if it meant "resting" one of our other guys to do so. He was the ultimate platoon player that Wedge started every day.

Agree! How is he on a major league roster? Thanks to him, we had to use Pestano, who now, because he threw a few pitches, is done for tonight. Hopefully, he is man enough to tell Acta that he can still pitch!

Nice win for our sucky team!

Yep, Pestano or Sipp probably won't be available tonight.

Huge start for David Huff, obviously. That should put the pressure on the front office to keep him up here, with him out performing Gomez. Also, he wouldn't have to go on short rest even if he pitched in Gomez's spot w/ the off day on Thursday.
He could have 2 more starts before the July 31st trade deadline. 2 more quality starts and his name could be brought into the mix as a viable option for the Tribe to move to get a bat.

we still have hermann, smith, perez and rage...hopefully carmona can not suck (easier said than done) and we don't overly tax the bullpen

Let's see how Carmona blows it tonight. My bet is on the following scenario.

-Tribe up 3 runs
-Carmona shutting them out going thru the 6th
-2 outs
-Carmona walks the first batter
-Error gets another batter on base after carmona had him down in the count
-Carmona gives up a rbi single after once again having the guy down n the account.
-Carmona gives up a 3 run hr.

Mitch Talbot starting a 30 day rehab in Columbus as a reliever. His starting days are over by the looks of it.
